About Us

Anchor Antiques has been in operation for over 33 years and we specialize in fine antiques, including regional furniture, country accessories, art, silver, and decorative furniture. The building has over 5000 square feet of inventory, with emphasis on regional East TN Furniture, southern folk pottery, baskets, and quilts. Our store also has English and French furniture with an extensive collection of paintings and silver. It has been owned and operated by the Case family throughout its life.

Mary Jo Case

Mary Jo Case is the founder and owner of Anchor Antiques. Her collections are currently on display with over six regional museums, additionally, she is serving on the advisory board for MESDA in Winston Salem, NC. She is an avid collector of East Tennessee regional furniture and pottery. In 2015, she was involved with the 5 year exhibit at Colonial Williamsburg at the DeWitt-Wallace Museum.

David Case

David Case

David Case has been the operations manager and sales consultant of Anchor antiques over the last ten years. He is a Tennessee licensed Auctioneer, working alongside CaseAntiques Inc.. He is a graduate of East Tennesse State University with a degree in business administration.

Estate Services

Anchor Antiques offers a variety of estate sale services. We typically deal with higher end collections. We are selective about which estates we choose to liquidate. Our partner, CaseAntiques Inc., is also typically involved in the estates we handle. If interested in these services, please call or email us for an individual evaluation.

Glen Leven

With over 40 years of estate experience, Mary Jo Case has worked with bank trust firms and law offices in helping to appraise and liquidate contents of various homes. Anchor Antiques often deals with a base of private collectors. Often, Anchor Antiques will liquidate an estate entirely through private sales.

We have a close partnership with CaseAntiques Inc., an auction-house located in Knoxville Tennessee. CaseAntiques Inc. is owned and operated by Mary Jo Case's son, John Case. CaseAntiques Inc. has been open since 2005, serving East Tennessee as well as a large, international audience. With over 1200 internet bidders and hundreds of local bidders per auction, CaseAntiques Inc. is a great choice for both local and international items. Their fully catalogued sales give items maximum exposure and a great chance for success.
